My Mom is from Old Crow,

and she is a pro.

She was ski champion in 1963,

it was natural for her to ski.

Father Mouchet taught her the technique,

and she was at her peak.

Mom skied even if it was cold,

because she wanted the gold.

My Mom was really fast,

and everybody she did pass.

If she had it her way,

she would ski all day.

My Mom won first prize,

she even beat some guys.

Father said she is tough,

made of the right stuff.

Martha is her name,

and she made it to fame.
