Often referred to as the game of human chess, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling based art that utilizes takedowns, sweeps, joint locks and strangle holds to subdue your opponent or attacker. BJJ emphasizes a lot of drilling and live sparring also know as “rolling”. These classes are practiced wearing the traditional Gi or Kimono and students are graded from white belt all the way up to black belt.
