Does glazing your work stress you out? Are you frequently surprised by the results out of the kiln? If you would like more confidence when glazing, this two half-day workshop is for you.

On the first day we will throw an 8-piece set of test bowls and discuss how you can tweak the design of your forms to work with your glaze plan. You will be expected to trim your pieces on your own time and have them ready to be bisque fired in time for the next session.

On the second day, we will review best practices for glazing and explore a series of glaze application methods on our bowls, including layering, trying out a range of different application tools, wax resist techniques, and more.
