Grief and the Frontline Professions

Registration has opened for this two-day workshop that we offer just once a year at beautiful Vista Outdoor Learning Centre near Whitehorse. It is geared towards frontline staff who support others in their work.
Many jobs that involve supporting and caring for other people also often involve loss and grief. The way we respond to grief, both our own and our clients, impacts the quality and sustainability of our work, as well as our personal health.
This educational and rejuvenating two-day workshop offers:
- An in-depth look at how we grieve
- Skills and resources for supporting others through loss
- Practical tools for reducing stress and finding balance in your professional life
- The opportunity to feel renewed and more confident in supporting yourself, your co-workers and your clients
This is a learning opportunity that blends gentle self-care time with presentations and discussions. It is not an overnight event but lunches and snacks are provided. We hope you’ll join us.
Helpful for…
