The Yukon’s Liard Region includes Watson Lake, which has a population of 1200 people.
When travelling north on the Alaska Highway into The Yukon, the town of Watson Lake is the first settlement you’ll come to. A variety of tourist services and attractions are available in this warm and friendly city. In the summer, tourists can go to the Northern Lights Space and Science Centre to witness the northern lights or explore the Sign Post Forest to find their home town.
