In John 14:6, Jesus tells us how we can have a relationship with God, the Heavenly Father.  He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well." (Jn. 14:6) Later on in the Bible, we read, "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,‘ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
