Polymer Clay with Lara Melnik

This is a technique-based workshop where participants will learn how to make basic “millefiori” canes using polymer clay. Millefiori means “a thousand flowers” which describes the intricate patterns used to create floral and geometric designs. Cane are building blocks for beads, and other art projects.
Instructor: Lara Melnik
Lara Melnik is a primarily self taught polymer clay artist. She has been making unique jewelry and art for over 20 years. With a passion for all colours, and a love of nature, she creates landscapes and abstracts by blending and layering the clay. She is happy making art that puts a smile on someone’s face.
