Yukon Homeschool Education Society is a non-profit society created to bring together families who choose to homeschool. Volunteer parents and the YHES Board organize activities and events for our kids (including arts classes, swimming and ski/snowboard lessons, and wildlife preserve tours), advocate for home-educators' interests, and provide community and support for home-educating families. As students in the Yukon, YHES members can participate in some of the same opportunities as public school students through AVS. Examples are sporting events/competitions.
