What makes feature images so important

What makes feature images so important?

When someone visits our website, the feature images will be the first thing they see about your event. You want it to be a captivating visual that makes it obvious to the audience what the event is all about.

Why do you care so much about the size of my image?

Yes, we are a little picky about the images you use as your post’s featured image. The arrangement of the website will be distorted if your images are the incorrect size. The file size of the images will affect how quickly our pages load. All of this is detrimental to our website, which ultimately harms the events you have posted.

So what should I do to correctly generate the featured image?

The image’s dimensions should be 380 pixels high by 740 pixels wide. Additionally, 72 dpi is all that is required for use on the website. We use a service called ShortPixel to compress our files. It is cost-free and automatically reduces the file size to one that is typically undetectable to the human eye. We utilize VistaCreate and BeFunky to generate and change the images we use on our site if you don’t have access to a designer of your own.
You should be aware that if you submit images that don’t fit these requirements as Feature Images, we will modify them for you.

What if I want to utilize the image I already have without cropping it?

You are welcome to include a picture in the full description of your event. The more attractive your event page is, the higher it will rank in search results, the more appealing it will be to visitors, and the more likely it is that we will include it on our Carousel or in our list of Featured Events.
