After the last cruise ships departed from Skagway, I enjoyed a quiet drive down the South Klondike Highway, stopping to take in the amazing views of the coastal mountains in their fall splendour. As luck had it, a healthy billy goat appeared close by and interrupted his munching to stare at me. I was transfixed when our eyes met.Carol Foster — S.S.
