An Introduction to bike maintenance. Keep your bicycle at its best this season. Great for mountainbikes, commuters, fatbikes and road/gravel.
Keep your bicycle at its best this riding season. Topics covered:
-Cleaning and lubrication
-Setup (controls, sizing, basic suspension)
-Tire and Tube (flat repair, tire tech, tubeless systems)
-Wheels (removal and replacement)
-Tools – what to pack, and what to keep in the shop
No previous experience needed. Get the most from the course by bringing your own bike and the tools (if any!) you carry on a ride. But if you’d rather practice on another bike, that can be arranged (please email 48hrs before course date). Youth participants welcome, parent must be present for under 14 years – no extra cost.
Work space and tools provided by Icycle Sports. Tools and parts available for discounted purchase at course conclusion.
