Protect the Peel – Looking back & forward

Protect the Peel - Looking back & forward
Come and join the CPAWS team for our first of many Lunch & Learn talks – a trip down memory lane to the days of the Protect the Peel campaign. While it’s important that we continue to move forward, there is also much to learn as you do so, by reflecting back. Presented by our Outreach Manager, Joti Overduin.
“At over 68,000 square kilometres of rugged northern wilderness, the Peel Watershed in northern Yukon is one of the largest unroaded natural areas in the world. For the four First Nations who call it home, the pure rivers and majestic mountains of the Peel have provided physical and cultural nourishment since time immemorial.” – protectpeel.ca
🥪 Lunch will be provided, talk starts at noon. No registration needed.

CPAWS Lunch & Learn talks will be an opportunity for us to share some knowledge, either from our staff or with guest speakers, and for you to come hang out and hopefully learn a little bit about conservation stories!
