The celebration of International Women’s Day continues with a Wrap Up Party at Lefty’s Well!
Road Dogs Music, Lefty’s, and Molotov & Bricks Tattoo are proud to present a night of original rock and metal, headlined by stoner rock trio SPACE QUEEN all the way from Vancouver, BC!
Joining them to open the night are local dynamite doom duo FRANKLIN and a brand new heavy trio FLEABANE.

SPACE QUEEN
Space Queen is the stoner rock evolution of power trio Jenna Earle (guitar/vocals), Seah Maister (bass/keys/vocals) and Karli MacIntosh (drums/vocals).
Space Queen is the stoner rock evolution of power trio Jenna Earle (guitar/vocals), Seah Maister (bass/keys/vocals) and Karli MacIntosh (drums/vocals).
Space Queen takes the signature haunting vocal harmonies of the trio’s former folk project (Sound of the Sun) and sends them soaring over a cosmic canvas of neo-psychedelic rock. Driving beats from MacIntosh provide an anchor for Earle’s heavy distortion and fuzzy 70s-style riffs, while Maister keeps everything grounded on bass, or shoots beyond the stratosphere with spacey synths and intergalactic organ.
SQ’s sophomore EP “Nebula” was released in the Spring of 2023, followed by a cross Canada tour in May/June with festival stops at NXNE and Vantopia. Nebula landed on best of 2023 lists by The Obelisk and Diary Of Doom. Coming in 2024 is a single mixed by Desert Rock legend, Dave Catching. Plenty of plans are in the works for 2024. These next few years are shaping up to be busy ones!

Franklin is the sludgy, doomy riff machine hailing from Whitehorse YT. This two-piece menace features Kirsty Wells screaming melodic vocals while slamming the fuzz and distortion-fueled bass, coupled with Evan Joel’s raspy support vocals and drums hit hard enough to make knuckles and ears bleed.

FLEABANE:
Fleabane is a brand new heavy-hitting trio comprising local musicians Hannah Mazurek, Evan Joel, and Rob Jones. Fleabane’s sound is anything but small – this genre-bending group will have you lying on a carpet thinking about lawyers, dancing your socks off to latin polyrhythms, and doing sick ollies off the statue of the mayor in Town Square all over the course of one seven-to-nine minute song. And of course, a pinch of math for the nerds in the house. Don’t miss their debut show!
