Disclosure: I’m not a Yukoner, just passing through, but saw the note in the March 20th issue (I’m staying at the Beez Kneez Bakpakers hostel that was mentioned in the issue about retired Quest dogs, one of whom, Bertha, is lying on the floor next to me as I type this!) and thought of a photo I took yesterday afternoon.
We had walked up past Canyon City from the Miles Canyon Foot Bridge and were chilling by the trail when this fox turned up to say hi. It sniffed around the trail a little then ran off when it lost interest.
