Gray jays, a.k.a. Canada jays, visiting our deck on Duncan Drive in the Golden Horn subdivision. We somehow discovered that gray jays, magpies and ravens love dog kibble. The gray jays prefer the puppy kibble. The ravens prefer dog kibble. Magpies do not seem to have an opinion. As the photos show, they load up, fly away, come back, have a big drink and load up again. Just when you think they can’t get any more in their mouth, they go at it sideways.
