Ein shared curiosity
exists between the land of the midnight sun
and the place we call Germany,
and they Deutschland.
The people of midnight sun take the Condor to Deutschland
for the architecture, the beer, the pretzels, the Alps.
The Deuschlanders take the Condor to Yukon
for the untouched land,
the wildlife, the peace
the quiet.
An international flight out of a small northern airport
connects the two continents, the two peoples,
the two distinct cultures.
Enabling those with the bug to go…
Both born to fly.
