Pickled Cherries With Brown Sugar And Chilies

Ingredients
  

  • 10 ounces apple cider vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp kosher salt
  • Big pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1 quart pitted ripe cherries

Instructions
 

  • 1. Bring vinegar, sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes to a simmer. Stir often until sugar and salt are dissolved. Place pitted cherries into a container and pour vinegar mixture over the cherries. Seal with a lid and place in the fridge at least overnight or up to several weeks.
