Burger meets taco. It’s the best of both weeknight staples. Try seasoning the beef with taco seasoning if you’re feeling more taco, or adding a fried egg and some bacon if you’re feeling more breakfast for dinner.
Taco Smash Burger
Ingredients
- 6 oz ground beef
- 2 small flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Tomato, chopped
- Sliced lettuce
- Various condiments
- Toasted sesame seeds, to garnish
Instructions
- Set the oven at 400℉ degrees. Press 4 ounces of ground beef onto each tortilla and season liberally with salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil. When shimmering, add the tortilla, meat-side down, and cook until the meat is just pink, about 6 minutes.
