Didee & Didoo – Poem “Body Heat”

Body Heat

When it’s a cold autumn

you’ll freeze your bottom.

You can either migrate

or better yet hibernate.

You can’t do no harm

when you need to stay warm.

When we share one sheet

we call that body heat.

When we share one cot

we’ll both be hot.

When we sleep together

we won’t feel the cold weather.

We can both touch

but she’s boss of how much.

We can both cuddle

or maybe just huddle.

If I had to sleep alone

I’d be chilled to the bone.

When there’s no lady to hold

I’ll really feel the cold.

If I’m out of luck

I’ll be a frozen duck.

But if I can’t shack up

I’ll just sleep with my pup.
