Didee & Didoo – Poem “Store”

Store

I don’t like to buy pop

but I like to shop.

I can use my credit card

when I need to buy lard.

Or I can buy honey

if I have enough money.

I look at the price

when I buy rice.

I always buy cheese

and sometimes peas.

I always buy coffee

but I don’t need toffee.

I like to buy jellybeans

an’ shirt and jeans.

I can charge up soap

or buy a long rope.

I always buy jam

an’ sometimes ham.

Sometimes I buy a candy bar

or pickles in a jar.

Sometimes I pick berries

but they sell me cherries.

I can even purchase pie

’cause I always buy.
