Busy Beaver
They work nonstop
but they don’t chop.
They don’t use a saw
they use their jaw.
A busy beaver
doesn’t use a cleaver.
They don’t work with a knife
‘ cause beavers are wildlife.
They don’t use an axe
and they never relax.
Beavers work all day
never asking for pay.
They always search
for lots of birch.
Beavers in a slough
and willows they chew.
Beavers works outdoors
using all fours.
They don’t play like the otter
they’re always busy in the water.
In work I’m a believer
just like the busy beaver.
